If you want a blog full of culture, intelligent discussions, and philosophy as it applies to books, go somewhere else. The Book at Hand is a snarky commentary on the books that pass through my hands. I typically read historical fiction, but I'm really not finicky.

Most of my time is devoted to judging people's taste in books.

When I'm not avidly devouring a book, I can typically be found watching my favorite TV shows (Doctor Who, Firefly, and Orphan Black,) or sketching.  I sound much more cultured than I am.

I will also feature guest bloggers, reading diaries, and interviews on my blog as it grows.
